Spacestation bring their new album, Who Killed Spacestation?, to Lucky Records for an afternoon off-venue set during Iceland Airwaves.
The Reykjavík four-piece combine shoegaze and psychedelia with driving rhythms and melodic songwriting in Icelandic and English. Live, the songs leave room for feedback, extended endings and spontaneous changes.
Released through Alda Music in September, Who Killed Spacestation? received four stars from RÚV, with music featured in Made in Chelsea. The band return to Reykjavík following a European tour through Germany, Austria, Denmark and Sweden.
“Instant standouts.”
